During Lent this year, St. Paul's Episcopal Church donated two heifers, some rabbits, chickens, ducks anda contribution to the 'most needed' fund. Heifer International provides assistancefor AIDS widows in Kenya through Heifer International. The cows produce more milk than needed for the immediate family, so it can be sold for profit and calves, when born, will be given to other AIDS widows. Thus the gifts become a means to independence, respect and dignity for our sisters in Kenya.
